松浦研究室では、「ストック・リデザイン」「公民連携」「共感のデザイン」「戦略のデザイン」をキーワードに、都市や地域の再生に取り組んでいます。新しいものをつくるだけでなく、既存のまちや建築、地域資源を活かし直し、持続的な都市空間のあり方を探求します。行政・企業・市民・大学が協働する実践的なプロジェクトを通じて、共感に基づく関係性のデザインを重視し、社会実装までを視野に入れた「戦略のデザイン」を展開しています。都市から農山村までをフィールドに、未来のまちづくりの姿を具体的に描き出すことを目指しています。At the Matsuura Urban Design Studio, we focus on “Stock Redesign,” “Public–Private Partnership,” “Empathic Design,” and “Design of Strategy” as key concepts in our efforts toward the regeneration of cities and regions. Rather than simply creating new things, we explore sustainable approaches to revitalizing existing towns, buildings, and local resources. Through practical projects that bring together government, industry, citizens, and universities, we emphasize designing relationships based on empathy and develop strategies that lead to real-world implementation. From urban centers to rural areas, we aim to envision and materialize future forms of community and urban living.
１．ストック・リデザイン🌱
Stock Redesign
新しく「つくる」よりも、すでにある都市や建築、地域資源を「活かし直す」ことを重視しています。老朽化した施設や空き家、使われなくなった公共空間などを、デザインとマネジメントの力で再生し、地域の持続可能な未来像を描き直すことを目指します。
We place greater importance on “revitalizing what already exists” than on creating from scratch. By using the power of design and management to renew aging facilities, vacant houses, and underused public spaces, we seek to redefine sustainable futures for local communities.

２．公民連携・共感のデザイン🤝
Public–Private Partnership and Empathic Design
行政・企業・市民・大学など、立場の異なる主体が協働して地域課題に取り組む「公民連携（PPP）」の実践を重視しています。ここで大切にしているのは、制度や仕組みよりもまず「共感」です。つまり、人と人の共感関係をデザインすることこそが、持続的なまちづくりの基盤であるという考え方です。
We emphasize practical collaboration among governments, businesses, citizens, and universities to address regional challenges. What we value most is not systems or frameworks, but empathy. We believe that designing relationships of mutual understanding among people forms the true foundation of sustainable community building.

３．戦略のデザイン🧭
Design of Strategy
都市や地域の課題は、単に空間を整えるだけでは解決しません。どのように関係者を巻き込み、どの順序で進め、どう継続させるか――そのプロセス全体をデザインすることを重視します。この姿勢を「戦略のデザイン」と呼び、調査・計画・実践・評価を往還しながら、実装力のある都市デザインを追求しています。
Urban and regional issues cannot be solved merely by improving physical spaces. We focus on designing the entire process — how to engage stakeholders, determine the sequence of actions, and ensure continuity. We call this approach “Design of Strategy.” By iterating between research, planning, implementation, and evaluation, we pursue an urban design practice with real social impact.
