松浦研究室では、都市から農山村にわたる生活空間の計画・デザイン・マネジメントに関わる以下の３つの研究をしています。

都市形態学的アプローチによる建築・都市・地域の解読
Decoding of architecture, urban, region by urban morphological approach
複雑な要素が絡み合って形成されている建築・都市・地域を即物的に分析する都市形態学(アーバンモルフォロジー)的アプローチにより解読する研究や、タイポロジーによる計画・設計手法の開発を進めています。
We are advancing research to decipher by urban morphology approach that analyzes buildings, cities, and areas that are formed by complicated elements intertwined, and development of planning and designing methods by typology.

住民主体のまちづくりを支える計画技術の開発・実践
Development and practice of planning techniques to support making better community
地方分権改革が進み、基礎的自治体である市町村が主体的にまちづくりに取り組める土俵が整いつつあります。一方、住民参加型まちづくりの試みは一般化し、住民主体のまちづくりへの移行が求められています。分権型社会におけるまちづくりを支えるしくみを、市町村サイドと住民サイドの両面から考えます。
The decentralization reform has advanced, and the basic municipalities are making efforts to tackle making better community actively. Meanwhile, efforts to build Community Participation have become generalized, and it is required to shift to community-based planning. We consider the mechanism to support making better community in a decentralized society from both municipal side and residents side.

庭園生活圏（都市圏）のデザイン・マネジメントに関する研究
Study on design and management of garden living area (metropolitan area)
少子高齢・人口減少社会が現実のものとなりつつある中で、持続可能な都市形態として「コンパクトシティ」が提唱されていますが、現実の社会ではコンパクトシティとは反対の現象（都市の溶解）が広がりを見せていることを鑑みると、現実の都市を見据えた計画論が求められていると言えます。市街地・郊外・農村といった従来の概念による圏域に分けて考えるのではなく、それらを一体の地域社会として捉える「庭園生活圏」の考え方が重要だと考え、庭園生活圏実現のための調査研究に取り組みます。
"Compact city" is being proposed as a sustainable urban form as the declining birthrate and elderly population and society with declining population are becoming a reality. Given that the phenomenon opposite to the compact city (melting of the city) is expanding in real society, it can be said that a planning theory with a view to the real city is demanded. I think that it is important to consider the idea of "garden living area" which regards them as a unified community, rather than thinking about the areas based on conventional concepts such as urban areas, suburbs, and rural areas, and investigative research to realize the garden living area I will work on it.
